Dr. Hayden S. Hendley, Principal Investigator
Originally from Dallas, TX, Dr. Hendley earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from Rhodes College and her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from UC San Diego. She is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Psychology department at UC Riverside. She specializes in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, with a focus on scalable techniques applicable to large-enrollment courses. She is particularly interested in enhancing meaningful learning while reducing equity gaps and helping students develop transferable, career-ready skills. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband, Sam, and dog, Piper.

Donna Arteaga Alvarez attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). She is currently a first year graduate student in the psychology program at UCR. Previous works have focused on career development and motivation.
